“Good food but portions are tooooo big”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2014

Have always had great breakfasts but find their portions are too big. Perhaps they need smaller plates. Yes, their hash browns are fantastic, but seriously, way too many.
Everything in moderation. Moderation us the key. I hate wasting food, knowing full well my family won't/can't eat everything served. And yes, we've asked for smaller portions which they've served.

“A fantastic breakfast or lunch joint right on the beach....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2014

If you live in or near Jupiter, FL, or are visiting and vacationing, allow me to share a little local secret with you....

Check out The Lazy Loggerhead Cafe....

From the outside you may get the impression that its the typical hot dog/hamburger/coca cola joint on the beach....

Nothing could be further from the truth.

I remember way back when, when this place was a t-shirt, sea shell, knick knack, tourist junk seller location.

Now, its a quaint little gourmet cafe right on the beach at Carlin Park.

At our most recent visit we had the most flavorful, most wonderful, cold, giner chicken salad. It was phenomenal. The greens were interesting and varied, and each was perfectly fresh. The chicken was perfect. A combination of a bit of ginger bite, a bit of crunch, perfect cold temperature, creamy and wonderful.

The ginger marinated carrots in the salad were a thing of beauty and a special taste treat.

The tomatoes were perfect, as was the side of ginger dressing.

A little sprinkle of Duke's Dusting (cajun spice mix) is a perfect set off.

My wife enjoyed a delicious looking, substantial grilled reuben... yum!

Our daughter's grilled chicken sandwich was plentiful and flavorful.

All mentioned that the french fries were tasty, well seasoned, and not greasy.

To top things off, everyone from the kitchen staff to the waitresses was pleasant, efficient, and friendly.

Try the Lazy Loggerhead, in its idyllic setting. You'll be glad that you did.
