“A delightful array of delicious food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

From the jalapeno poppers to the pasta dishes always a delight.
You can bring the dogs because there is a lot of outdoor seating.

The "island cuisine" is always done perfectly and presented with a great deal of panache.

“The King of Deception!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Everything about this place is deceptive. Starting with their web page, (jumbybayislandgrill.com), they show the blue ocean in the background. NOT! It is in the middle of a town center in Jupiter.

They advertise "2 for 1 drinks all day, every day". NOT! I ordered a draft beer but was told it was not 2 for 1. The manager told me that I could have 2 for $6 but one would be $3. $6 for a 16 oz. draft???? My wife wanted a vodka martini, but couldnt have that under 2 for 1. It had to be mixed with "coke or something like that". Couldn't even have the vodka on the rocks!

The food was horrible. We ordered fried calimari which were as chewy as rubber bands. The conch fritters were right out of the microwave.

For an entree, I chose the crab cakes. If there was any crab in them, I couldn't find or taste it, and they were overcooked and dried out.

My wife had mahi-mahi which was dry and very salty. It was accompanied by basmati rice (Uncle Ben's for sure). Just a scoop of dry, white rice. The accompanying mixed vegetables were, again, microwaved and mushy.

Nothing was fresh, nothing was good, and nobody including the manager really cared.

I'd starve to death before going back to this place.

“Fried foods vs. fresh fish”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012 via mobile

The fried fish tastes much better than the bland blackened dolphin. Overall, it is a fun atmosphere. They advertise kids eat free but the handful of times we have gone with kids we always have to ask to have the bill changed to reflect the children's free meals. It seems obvious this is on purpose. Don't advertise something & then make your patrons ask for the bill to be reflected at your own policy.

“Not so great”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

We ordered the surf and turf and it was not fresh and very boring. For 21 bucks it could have been much better. The prices are too high for the quality of food. My daughters fried fish was great. So just order the expensive fried foods if you want a good experience. Don't go with fresh because it isn't.
