“Worth A Detour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Very funky and somewhat noisy. But, it's the real deal for very inexpensive Maine Lobster (in the $20 range for a 2-pounder on some nights).

So, while this gets four stars (out of five) it's not fancy and not a good place to go on a quiet night. I would prefer not to give it four stars because that implies a certain elegance. Elegant, it's not.

But again, whole 2-pound lobsters at great prices. If you're a lobster lover, it's worth a detour.

Thank you for venturing into our "funky" little fresh seafood restaurant. I'm so thrilled to hear you enjoyed our food and hospitality. We put a lot of love in everything we do. And your right, some of the best places are the ones you stumble upon. I appreciate you taking the time to review us.

“Reliable, fresh & tasty seafood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2014

First and most important, all fish was very fresh. Parmesan crusted grouper was a big hit, just enough crust to add great flavor without overpowering the fish. Blackened grouper was lightly seasoned, not spicy at all (probably out of respect for the generally older clientele,) but the tropical fruit salsa added a nice zing. Sides, of which there is a nice variety, were good but nothing special, with the cole slaw probably being the best we tried. Caeser salad was a little bland, but new england clam chowder was quite taste and loaded with clams. The complementary pre-meal fresh, warm bread with herbed olive oil for dipping was awesome! Attentive, friendly service is a plus, and the décor is fantastic - an impressive art piece of ocean themed mosaic tile inside and out.

I'm so happy that you enjoyed your experience at the Juno Beach Fish House! Our parmesan-crusted grouper is one of our most popular entrees, and our New England clam chowder is homemade, as is the complimentary bread and herb-infused olive oil. We look forward to having you dine with us again.

“Sink your hook into the Fish House!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2014

Unbelievable food from start to finish. Try the daily specials.
It was a great dinner and reasonably priced.
One of our friends had an issue with his fish and it was fixed immediately and delivered personally by the chef!
Will visit again next time we are in Juno Beach.
You must give it a try.

Thank you for your kind review! I really appreciate that you brought to our attention that one of the meals at your table was not quite up to par. Chef Glenn, the owner, takes great pride in every plate that leaves his kitchen, and I'm so happy that dinner was enjoyed by all. We certainly look forward to serving you, and your party, the next time you are in Juno Beach.

“your moneys worth...not more!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2014

Wandering in during season just after 5pm, you will likely be crushed by the bargain seeking seniors who are there for the early-bird special. The atmosphere gears up fast as the waitstaff scurry about to meet the very demanding guests. Drinks are also discounted and plentiful at most tables.
It couldn't be more true when its said "you get what you pay for" here. The check won't be memorable but the meal will be remembered as slow, small, and cafeteria quality and just as loud.
Suggest a revisit later in the evening, maybe midweek definitely off season.

I would like to thank you for dining with us last week. It is true that we draw large crowds of regulars and first-timers alike. It's our goal to give our guests their money's worth, and more, by providing excellent service, while serving the freshest seafood available, and through our many promotions (i.e. 2-for-1 happy hour, Sunset Menu Specials, etc.). Thank you for your consideration to dine with us again at a quieter time. I have sent you a private message with my personal contact information. It is my hope that you will respond regarding your dining experience in detail, so that we may better serve you and our future guests.

“Excellent food in Juno Beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2014

This place was an unexpected great find. We came here intending to go elsewhere, but we were glad we did. This restaurant was filled with "regulars" and tourists like us. The menu was varied and had great early specials. We ordered from the all inclusive specials: soup or salad, main course with 2 sides, beverage and dessert. All for just $17.

The food was delicious and filling. Our fish was cooked with very good flavor and was fresh. The Key Lime Pie was the best we've ever eaten. I would definitely come back here.

The service was suburb. There is also outside dining available.

We are so happy you found us as well! Thank you for taking the time to let us know we accomplished what we set out to do. Our "Sunset Menu" has been a locals favorite for 14 years and is still going strong. I must agree, our pastry chef makes a mean key lime pie! Not too sweet, not too tart. We look forward to serving you and your guests again.
