Owner description: This is a great seaturtle conservation organization. They have a turtle hospital and small education center. The most notable thing with this organization is the during seaturtle nesting season (May - August), they take you on guided walk to watch the turtles up close.

“Great place to learn about sea turtles”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

This is a great place to learn about sea turtles, and to see them being rehabilitated. We have been 3 times, and learn more each year. There are some. Interactive exhibits inside, but mostly you go outside and see sea turtles that are being rehabilitated. There are plenty of volunteers and staff who can tell you the story of each individual turtle, including why they are there and how they are progressing. It is great for children - they can see the turtles and there is a nice play area to burn off some energy. There are programs like mommy and me painting that you can sign up for at a nominal cost - you have to reserve in advance, but we did this last year and it was great. Wheat a great resource for both the turtles and those who want to leads about them and how to protect them.

“Definitely visit if you can!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

We spent the weekend in Juno Beach and visited this rescue. We were there when the doors opened and both my children, age 12 and 18, truly enjoyed our visit. THe staff was very knowledgeable . The museum area and aquariums are fascinating . Several new turtles have come in recently and we ere lucky enough to see them placing them in the tanks. The gift shop was very nice and very reasonable pricing. Definitely worth the time if you are in the area.

“Just say NO to plastic bags”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

Decided to check this place out while in the area. We were met by a VERY knowledgeable & enthusiastic woman who unfortunately was doing double duty that day greeting guests & trying to show you around. With people contiually coming in she kept getting interrupted, but still you knew she was devoted to what she was doing. She pointed out all the must sees & pertient facts that you needed to know. Displays are very well done, but the real draw is of course seeing the turtles. They are kept in salt watertanks that have a display window so you can see them as they swim by, you can also see them from the top. It was a real treat to see the Loggerheads & Green turtles, with more enthused volunteers to give you info. Cool playground for kids, nice sculptures too. You can also look into the hospital & observe. Very well done, the only disappointment for me was the gift shop uses PLASTIC BAGS, Makes no sense, when they tell you in their presentation that alot of the turtles are harmed by ingesting plastic bags that they mistake for jellyfish, so stop already with the plastic bags!!!!. Other than that glaring mistep its a very neat place to check out. They depend on donations so please be generous.

“Excellent Rehab Facility”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

This center is so nice, it is not so huge that you get lost trying to see it all, it is small and well done. Staff is so enthusiastic about working there and educating anyone who walks in the door. The grounds and location are wonderful. Many kudos to Palm Beach County for all of their parks, no entrance fee and many nice areas set aside for all to enjoy.

“Sea Turtle Haven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

This is a great beach! The water, sand, and sun are always nice, but add to those a rehab place for sea turtles and voila you have a masterpiece. The playground, and natural habitats that surround this park make it one of a kind. Florida seems to be at its best here. Oh yeah, one more great thing the park is free, though there is a small charge to see the turtles. This is a great beach!
