“Overcooked and Pricey”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2011

Fried grouper was overcooked and dry. Childrens meals average and the whole thing was pricey. Would not return.

“Great drinks and food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2011

Went here for an out of town guests' dinner for a wedding. We had a pre fixe menu so I can't speak to the value, but the food was great!

We started with fried conchs and calamari, both of which were really tasty.
For drinks, the yellowbird was fantastic.

Dinner was good, I tried the boar ribs and the caesar salad. Chicken on the salad was niiice and spicy. For dessert, they have a selection of pies, and the mocha one was amazing.

Other notables were the live band playing steel drums and decorations in the men's room.

“Great food on the water”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2011

We had fried grouper...very, very good! Coconut shrimp was awesome as was the yellow rice and black beans. The bread they put on the table has dinner rolls and the most amazing corn bread and banana bread. The Big Conch drink is a rum punch for 2 people and was good...but for $20 didn't even catch a buzz!! The restaurant is on the river but nice views and there is a fish feeding station with hundreds of cat fish waiting for you to toss in whatever bread you have left! Nice atmosphere with live music.

“Don't Miss this one!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2011

We went here with a group of adults/kids while vacationing in the area. It was exactly what we expected and more! A lively beach bar atmosphere and huge portions at great prices. What more can you want?

“Come for happy hour”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2011

Conchy Joe's has the best happy hour in Jensen Beach. The first we went there, we walked in at 5PM and the bar was rockin'. We grabbed a couple seats at the bar and found out that they offer free food every weekday from 3-6PM. We waited in line for the buffet - it's different each day - for fried clams and they were good. We've also had tacos and hot dogs on other days.

Another wonderful happy hour option is $6 for a dozen oyster shooters. They're gulf oysters and quite good. The funny part is what happens when 6PM comes. All of a sudden you look around and the bar is empty. We're pretty sure this happy hour is supper for the locals.

As far as the restaurant is concerned, it's okay but nothing more. They have bands on some nights like Jammin' Jensen Thursdays.

It's a bit off the beaten path and there are no other food or drink options within walking distance.
