We had dinner at Roy's last night, and it was perfect from start to finish! We were seated immediately and had our cocktails in hand in just a few minutes. For appetizers, our party had the ahi poke, the butternut soup, and the apple quinoa salad. The ahi poke was everyone's favorite, with the soup a close second. I'm the only one who appreciates quinoa, and the salad was crisp and light, with edamame beans, raisins, spinach, apples and quinoa. Main courses were scallops, wahoo which is called ono on their menu, and hangar steak. I didn't want the onion rings which came with the steak, and they were quickly replaced with diced potatoes and lobster! Dessert was pineapple upside down cake and the melted chocolate soufflé. The service was attentive but not intrusive. The evening was just perfect, even to the valet having our car waiting when we walked out of the restaurant!
