“Most Excellent Irish Pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

The pub has a great atmosphere, fantastic food and many choices of great cold draft beers. Staff was attentive and prompt. The patrons were diverse and eclectic on multiple level. Various entertainment such as trivia night, live bands, DJ's, etc. Pool and darts are an option as well. There steaks and burgers are some of the best quality meats that I have experienced. Highly recommended.

“Depends on what you're looking for”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

I usually only go here when I am desperate to watch an afternoon soccer game, and am not in the mood for Mellow Mushroom. Only problem is that this is one of the few smoking-allowed bars at the beach so many smokers gravitate to this dark and typical Irish pub setting. Can't speak to the food; I never eat in smoky bars. Beer selection is solid and St Patty's Day is a pretty major affair. Rest assured they will have your Champions League game on during the week. Bathrooms tend to be kind of nasty, also typical of the average Irish pub.

“Authentic Irish bar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

This place was very roomy & comfortable. The dollar bills on the ceiling were a fun touch. They have lots of whisky & a colorful drink menu. We sampled the Irish Trash Can . . . a greenish multiple liquor concoction made with red bull. It tasted too medicine-y to justify a second one. The Guinness flowed freely & was properly pulled.

Our appetizers were promptly served hot & tasty in a nice display.

For a bar it had great restrooms. The high end sink & faucet combo didn’t fit the rest of the bar’s decor but it was nice.

I’m not sure I’d stop in after a day at the beach because it’s too dark / authentic for a cool down but it’s probably a fun place to party later on.

“Great place for a beer and bite.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Stopped in for a quick beer and bite to eat. Lively atmosphere. Seems to be the place to go after 6pm. Really lively crowd. Pub food. Lots of beer choice on tap.

“Great food, good service lots of locals”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013 via mobile

Stopped in b/c the other local Irish pub had closed shop. Really enjoyed the food. Corned beef and cabbage and Fishermans pie were great. 50 beers on tap and good service. Only downside was that they allowed smoking inside. Waitress said that they have live music every night and get a good crowd.
