This beach should be packed with people every summer but it's not. It is a wide, white sanded beach without vehicles nor high rise buildings (only mid rise buildings with the exception of the southern end of the beach near Ponte Vedra). My guess is because the water looks grayish looking since the gulf stream passes by the beach only a mile away compared to Southern Florida where it's like many miles away offshore. But since it's not popular is the reason why people who visits the beach should enjoy it more.
