Found this BB via web. Nice website, needs a good directions page. Excellent photos, well represents the BB. I guess I am in the off season (Jan) but no cooked breakfast. Nice continental breakfast, but for $95 a night, could have had some eggs/bacon/etc. Owner super super nice. Great charm, I stayed in Grape room, very neat grape color sheets, lots of space. Easy walk to beach. Free WiFi worked great. This area needs better walkable restaurants. Had to drive to a nice one, but that is not BB fault. Will come back - will recommend. Has a great porch with rocking chairs and deck and garden. Super cute!

I recently stayed at this great bed and breakfast in March 2007.. This Inn is just beautiful! Everything is clean and decorated beautifully. The owner (Dawn) was helpful and accessable. I stayed in the Bird Room. I advise that you stay on the other side of the house because you can be disturbed by some teenagers that tend to party all night long across the street. Honestly, that was my only complaint. Besides that, I think this is a great place! You will enjoy your stay!

In the Fall of 2005 my husband was sent to Mayo's for testing.
We weren't fimilar with the area and needed a closer place to stay. Our daughter found the Fig Tree Inn on line and called the
owner and explained our problem. The Innkeeper, Dawn, was
very welling to help. We stayed 6 days at the Inn. Now, Jan. 07
I, we have spent 5wks at the Inn. My husband had 9 hrs of
surgery at St Luke's and stayed 20 days. Dawn has been a terrific friend to me during all this time. She even offered to bring me anything I needed at the hospital some 15 miles away. Being
in Jax all alone for that amount of time is very hard and to have a family like Dawn and Kevin to help and aid us is priceless. They
have made it most comfortable and well feed. Having the Inn gave me my space as my husband got back on his feet . I had
all the conviences of home along with a BEACH 1 block away.
The peace of mind that this INN has provided is PRICELESS!
The Grape Room is very spacious with a large shower, it is located on the ground floor next to the livingroom & kitchen.
I was able to prepare our meal and do our laundry just as if I
was at home. Yes, this truly is a Home away from Home.
Steve & Bobbie send our greatest thanks to Kevin & Dawn.

We stayed 3 nights in two rooms. The first room, Coral Reef, was beautiful, but the new tile in the bathroom prevented us from closing the door at all! My new husband had to hold it closed while I was in there. The owners knew, but didn't see fit to tell us when we booked the room, we would have stayed elsewhere. It may not have been a big deal to them, but a closing bathroom door is a big deal to me! The next two nights we were across the hall in the Garden Room, which was lovely and has a great jacuzzi tub. Unfortunately, it's right across the street from Party Apartments. The cops came a bunch of times, but the party didn't get quiet until about 1:30 AM. I heard from another resident who stays there that this happens a lot of Saturday nights. If you get the nautical room, the Coral Reef Room or the Palm Room you will be on the quiet side of the house. The food was really awesome, and the owner recommended Aquaspa nearby for massages. Aquaspa was terrific and well priced for the service. Fig Tree was beautiful and charming and very close to the beach (with bikes, towels, boogie boards & sunblock provided) but I wouldn't recommend it if you want any sleep on a weekend!

We recently stayed at this B&B for our anniversary. My wife was leary at first because she had never heard of it,(we live near Jax) but she was thrilled once we got settled in to the " Bird Room" upstairs. The inn is very comfortable and well decorated- everything just seems to fit in so perfectly. Our innkeepers were very hospitable and friendly. Breakfast was incredible- we got tons of fresh fruit, breads, scones, bacon, an incredible egg dish and a great potato casserole. Probably one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The inn is only a block and a half off the beach and only a few blocks South of Joe's Crab Shack and the Jax Beach boardwalk. There are four rooms upstairs- Bird, Palm, Garden, and Corral Reef.(and 2 downstairs) Our room, (Bird) was very comfortable and you could spot the ocean out one of the Eastern windows. Palm Room looked very nice as well but the Garden Room is the one to shoot for if avail with its huge bathroom and lots of space. (Never got to peek into the Corral Room.) The upstairs had its own deck/swing/chairs which made for a great place to hang out. Everything was great- I wouldn't change a thing and we will definitely go back again!!!!!
