We went to TJ's because our first choice was too busy. It is a very attractive premise and inside was comfortable, bright and roomy. Staff all extra pleasant and efficient. I dropped my cutlery and before I got up again and wiped it off, a server had fresh cutlery wrapped in napkin for me to use. And the server was not assigned to our table. Impressive.
As food was consumed, the empty plates were removed promptly, often by other wait persons than ours. Seemed like every one pitched in to please the diners.
The sea scallop appetizer was fabulous. It had too much pasta with it, could have used another scallop instead.
Meals were veal scalopini and spaghetti with sausage, both first class. slightly noisy but not so much as to detract from the pleasant experience. And we found the prices to be very reasonable. We enjoyed the evening thoroughly and highly recommend TJ's to every one. Sholuld be ranked much higher than # 10. What does it say for a town when the highest ranked restaurant is a donut shop? does not seem right to me.
