I've been to Crabby Bills twice. Once to another location that has since closed and to this, the "Original" Crabby Bill's location. It took me 6 years and a demand from a fellow diner to return. The first trip was a disaster when we ordered crab but had no way to eat it because the wait staff didn't have enough crab crunchers to go around.
Tonight was a different experience. It was noisy, crowded, rowdy, and great. We had a round of Crab Traps at the bar (4 different flavors of rum mixed with fruit juices) and were seated at one of the many picnic tables. The service was attentive and not crabby at all, and the food was most acceptable.
My husband's one complaint (the Original Crabby Mike) was being hawked for photo sales. A woman approaches dinners, offers to snap shots, then offers them sealed in key chains for five bucks. It was a cute little thing, I bought 3.
Go with an open mind and expect to have a little fun. You will.
