“Pleasant Surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2014

We drove past this place and thought it looked nice, so we came back later that evening. We were glad we did! It was nice & clean, Had very friendly service, and a unique selection of food. The atmosphere wasn't over done in the "tiki" theme. Most importantly, the food was delicious! I had the Thai chicken bowl and the chicken chili soup and my girlfriend had the coconut shrimp with a side salad. All were amazing, as were our drinks. Highly recommended!

“Very Good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

A new place on the beach, well worth your time. Stopped in for lunch and many items on the menu looked interesting. She had the seasoned pork bowl over rice and I started with a ceviche and then fried shrimp. The pork was really tasty, the ceviche good and the shrimp, fries and coleslaw were just what I'd wanted. Good portions, we saw some wraps go by to other tables and they looked pretty good as well. We'll be back again to try out some more menu selections. It's worth your time to give it a shot too.

“Service was horrible”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

The place was overstaffed yet our waiter was horrible. Sat down with no set up. Slow to check on us, to see if we wanted another drink. Food was so-so. I couldn't get over the amount of wait staff and lack of service-won't be around long. Nice bar...BUT with wait staff tripping over each other and lack of follow up. This place will not last.

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2014

There's not much to recommend here. Service was dreadful, but I fear we got a brand new waitress so it may not be a fair criticism. Despite a very large number of wait staff, we were ignored for a solid 20 minutes after arrival. Service improved after that. Food was mediocre and the menu was limited. Lobster tacos were fair. Volcano chicken nuggets were too salty, the calamari tasted of old oil and the onion rings, which I thought were hard to mess up, were bland. Pulled pork sandwich was sub par and the Thai chicken bowl was just OK. The place seemed pretty popular with the locals, however, so there must be something to compliment here, but we couldn't find it. Decor doesn't matter to me much, but if you bill yourself as a tiki bar, throw in a few palm fronds, Easter Island heads, and coconut cups; something to make you feel like you're not in a strip mall.

“Original and a unique place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2014 via mobile

Went here with 5 friends and needless to say, Was a blast! They have just opened so we expected some "hiccups" but none. Service was great and food was amazing! I had cheese planks which are pepper jack cheese sticks instead of you standard mozzarella. With a raspberry dipping sauce and the lobster tacos. Oh man they were crazy good! The owner and chef both came around to the table at some point durning our time out, which was pretty cool to see. Best chocolate cake I have ever had! Great location too because Starbucks is right next to it!!! Will definitely be going back soon!
