“Take your pick”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2014

When I am at the beach, I like to eat seafood!! The Islands Fish Grill has different kinds of fish (and a few non seafood related entrees) which can be served many ways. For an appetizer, we choose the conch and shrimp fritters, moist and flavorful. I choose the grilled cobia for main entree and it was delicious! The prices are reasonable for fresh, quality fish served in a vacation setting. There is not a full bar, but wine and beer are available. The atmosphere was cozy and the service good. Note, there is a parking lot behind the restaurant on Sixth Ave.

Islands Fish Grill has been my favorite restaurant in Indialantic for years. I take my friends there whenever I have an opportunity. The service and food are wonderful. The seafood is fresh. The recipes fantastic! Love this place.

A great place for dinner with friendly service and a more than adequate menu. The fish is really tasty.

“Best grouper ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014

We're not the usual Florida tourists in that we're from Tampa, and just felt like a beach getaway on the other coast, so we have quite a bit of grouper and know which of our local places have good grouper- so we thought we'd try the Islands Fish Grill's "signature" dish- the onion encrusted grouper. Wow. Fresh. Cooked perfect. The whole thing was great.

We also got a daily special - grilled swordfish, topped with two shrimp and a lobster sauce. The sword was cooked perfectly and the sauce was just right, complementing the fish just right. The shrimp was a little dry - but not bad and the great flavor of the dish as a whole more than made up for that.

Both plates were served with mashed sweet potatoes - which I personally prefer as a healthier choice to go with the health benefits of the fish. And both places came with sautéed vegetables - snap peas, carrots, lima beans and rutabaga - a very nice touch.

This place is fairly small but has an atmosphere that is both homey and eloquent. From the outside, I wouldn't guess there was such a nice place inside. There's parking in the back.

We also got a couple bowls of chowder- it was neither white/creamy like New England style nor tomato-based, like Manhattan style, but yet it was creamy and flavorful, with a distinct seafood flavor.

“Fish the right way”

Very tasty. Good portion size. Great value. Not overly large restaurant. Service was attentive, but not a nuisance.
