Just returned from a 2 week vacation in florida. Our first stop was at Tuckaway Shores.I booked direct for two nights in a Ocean suite. What a great choice. We arrived late so it was dark but the next morning from the balcony the views were nothing short of breathtaking! The beach stretched as far as the eye could see in both directions, the atlantic was crashing down on the beach, the pelicans danced in between the waves,it was perfect. The suite was very nice.very clean and spacious. As other reviews have said its not 5* but on a homely scale it reaches a 10/10. On the dinning front the Blueberry muffin is a good choice for breakfast and the Cove (sea food, what else! ) a absolute must for dinner. The king prawns stuffed with blue crab are just to die for. All in all the Tuckaway Shores is a brilliant place to just chill out and relax.

Stayed at the Tuckaway Suites over the July 4th week. When I booked the room the reservation clerk suggested an ocean side room on the second floor, glad I listened to her. What a great room with a beautiful view from our balcony. The sunrise every morning is breath taking. The room had a queen size bed, small kitchen area, table for two, refrigerator, microwave, two burner stove, toaster and coffee maker. The unit had a sofa bed which I would only recommend for children. The first and second floor units have a porch or balcony with chairs and small table which are great for morning coffee or cocktails at night. The beach was beautiful and not crowded. This appears to be mostly a residential town, with very few hotels so the beaches are very empty. The pool was a welcome sight after several hours on the hot beach. The facility has washer and dryer, outside picnic area with barbeque (they provide charcoal) and beach chairs and children’s toys (left by previous visitors) for the beach. If your looking for a nice place to stay and rest (we were recovering after a week at Disney), this is the place to stay. While your there try Bizzarro’s Pizza at the next corner, great NY style pizza, Del’s Lemon Ice (famous in Rhode Island) and the Cold Stone Creamery (excellent Ice Cream on a hot day) all very close.

Our family spent Easter at this great little resort in Indialantic. Very clean, spacious and the kitchen was an added bonus for a family with children. What a great view of the beach while having a cup of coffee each morning on our ground floor porch. Nice pool. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. The manager said they are going condo/hotel with more upgrades to come. Will definitely return as this far exceeds the stuffy high-rise hotels in this area.

I stayed here with my son for a short Florida getaway from Jan. 19th - Jan.23rd. For your less then 100 dollars a night you get a great view of the ocean, a two room suite. I had the queen bed while my son got the futon. Rank does have it's priviledges. You get a micro, fridge, stovetop, kitchen sink, various cookware and silverware etc... If you stay on the third floor you get a large window looking directly at the ocean. This was our arrangement. The second floor rooms have a deck with a chaise and chair. You also have a view of the ocean from the second floor. On the first floor you get a patio with patio furniture and a little lawn surrounding it. The dune may block your view of the ocean from these rooms. When we return we will try to get a room on the second floor. It was quiet and peaceful. Those staying here were not a party crowd, which was fine with us. There seems to be a nice mixture of families and seniors in attendance. We were fortunate to see the New Horizons Pluto probe take off on the 19th. It flew down the coast right by our room. It should get to Pluto in nine years. I hope to stay at Tuckawy Shores many times in the interim.
By the way we had room #330 on the third floor. Jan. 19th - Jan. 23rd.
