This little gem of a restaurant is a bit hard to find if coming by car, easier I understand if coming by boat. It's unassuming facade belies it's interior charm and says nothing of the friendliness and attentiveness of the owner and staff, and their nothing-is too-good for the customers attitude.
The menu is a surprise too, with it's wide and varied selections, some of which are signature dishes that announce the presence of a creative chef in the kitchen. Even our self proclaimed 'picky eater' was able to chose from several items.
All four of us enjoyed our meals, and on this rare occasion were enthused and confident enough to try dessert, which was also very, very good.
The real uniqueness here lies in the staff and the owner, who without interfering in our conversation, spent enough time with us to make us feel special and welcome. I'm very confident that the next time we go, and there will be a next time, they will recognize us and make us feel like old friends coming for dinner.
