Read all the previous reviews to tips. OceanFRONT - Friday and Sunday checkins. Saturday - OceanVIEW. They DO NOT negotiate that I am aware of - and I tried.
In addition, why do timeshares cut corners on mattresses in their units? You give guests a great nights sleep and it would work wonders. It's sad. Honestly, with this being a Starwood property (Sheraton), I had hoped. Marriott delivers that comfort. But, no. And when you're on vacation, what do you want to do, but get in some rest coupled with fun. That leads me to the next thing with this property, there is little regard to noise level from the ground's staff. They start early, and forget their surroundings and environment. While the yards are maintained, it does NOT take the level of noise THAT early in the morning these folks make, and ask of their patrons in the second unit. The ocean front units should not have that complaint, but those in the second building (mind you, Saturday check in) are subjected to balcony views of yard maintenance, trash pick up, and business of the day with the noise to boot.
The units are spacious in the second building (Saturday check in). I can't say much more than those before me. The area is quite this time of year. We didn't have a problem with kids that some complained about running wild. The oceanfront beach is being threatened by erosion directly in front of this Sheraton timeshare. They will have to eventually respond, or offer the patrons chairs on their grass in front of the first building (Friday check in). Staff responed to our questions. They aren't the warmest you will interact with, but they are business as usual and appear to help you if needed. We didn't need much at check in. We asked for a change in rooms - at least if we were victims of their routines and policies written in "stone" as one male staff receptionist informed us with Saturday check in - we wanted a high room to see over trees and enjoy something of an ocean view. We were told they were full. Well, I would challenge that, but it may be they close rooms to maintenance and updates. But, I didn't think the second building on the road (Satuday check in) was being updated. I had left a message for Mr. Egan, the manager, to call us, but no call back. The nice administrative assistance to him took my message and promised either him or a front desk manager (?Twanda? - can't recall) would. Of course, I tried initially with the man at the front desk but got nowhere, hence, I wanted to elevate my discussion. I didn't get a call back.
I have stayed in many spots, and we enjoyed Jensen beach and the Island. While we would visit again, I left with a few (obviously) nagging issues. Stay here, enjoy the area and island, go into Stuart, shop and walk around, and if you need a change in scenery, drive down to Palm Beach and enjoy a day at the Breakers, and browse Worth Avenue for a WOW factor.

Thank you for posting your review on trip Advisor. We try to accommodate all requests from our guests to exceed expectations. When we experience very high occupancy due to Holidays, at times, we are unable to grant all requests. I am confident that if the room you had requested was available, we would have been more than pleased to honor your request. I personally apologize that I did not return your call as I my understanding was that one of my Executive Committee Team Members contacted you. I sincerely hope you give Vistana’s Beach Club another try to prove to you we continue to be the number one Resort on Hutchinson Island.
