“Overflowing Omelette”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012 via mobile

They have a large breakfast menu and it was hard topic, what to order. My wife had a an egg white omelette and it was overflowing with toppings and ingredients. I had the 2+2+2 and it was good.
The orange juice is nothing special. Definitely from concentrate, so I would skip it, especially for the price.
A good, but not gourmet, breakfast stop.

“Breakfast = Minnies”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

Every time we come to the island we always go to Minnies for breakfast. We tried other places in the early days but when we found minnies in 2007 we never looked back. Not only is it a great place to get everything and anything you could want for breakfast but the girls (and more recently guy!) that work here are so lovely you'll want to go just for the atmosphere. It was my father who was the big eater in our party, with a particular fondness for the Minnie's western omelet with home fires, coffe and juice. Unfortunately he passed away in 2010 and without his appetite for big breakfasts we don't get to see the lovely staff at Minnies so much these days, but when we do the breakfasts are stil top notch and your coffee cup is never dry!!

“Food was awesome. It was the best breakfast I've had in the area.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2012 via mobile

We had the omlets which were awesome. The following morning I had their homemade cinnamon rolls. Again, stellar. We live in the Tampa Bay area and this is the best breakfast I've had at any restaurant. If you like good food and a diner environment and friendly service, this is restaurant is a must.

“Breakfast as it should be :)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

Minnies is small, cramped with pretty out-dated furnishings, the service can be a bit hit and miss and it certainly isnt cheap.

But by golly, if its a breakfast fit for a king to set you up for the day then this is the place to be.

“Really good first day breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2012

Came onto the island after an early flight and the rental home technically wouldn't be ready until 3ish, so got a good recommendation from Candi at E&V Properties, to go to Minnie's right down the street. Warned me though, cash only. It is a small place, but cozy still. Funny menu on the wall. Had a discussion with the waitress about S.O.S., Marines vs Army cooks and mess halls.
Wife had a crunchy outside soft inside waffle and I had a hear attack omelet with bacon sausage, ham and a few other things just shy of the kitchen sink. Home fries were good, Applewood bacon was crisp to my wife's liking. What a great way to start off a memorable week on AMI.
