“Great Cuban food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012 via mobile

After staying at the casino we wanted something different. The breakfast was good, the warm cuban break with butter and coffee. I order an omelet with bacon and it come with good season home fries. Also had the ham croquettes the best I ever eating. The waitress was friendly .

“Not much to look at but delicious, fresh made Cuban food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2011 via mobile

Gotta agree withe first review, not much to look at and the neighborhood although safe is also kinda not much to look at either but the food is well worth the trip and once your inside the friendly service and freshly made Cuban fare makes it all worthwhile.
Absolutely must have the empanadas. For $1.50 each you might as well try all three, ham & cheese, chicken and beef. The crust is pastry shop crumbly delicious and the fillings are succulent.
For breakfast omlettes are great and as with all items priced great at about $4.75 each including potatoes and toast. Great cafe con leche as well.
Lunch specials come in on average $6.75 each but don't let the low price fool you, quality is high, food is fresh and service is super friendly.
Had dinner there tonight. Plantain chips ($2.75) with a savory dip were paper thin and freshly made like the empanadas which we had as well for an app. The lechon asado (roast pork) was out of this world served over cassava with rice and beans, crispy yet moist mmmmm good. Also had the Picadillio ($6.50) with black beans and plantains and it was also great.
Too full for dessert but we had a mango shake with dinner that was fresh made and tasty.
Highly recommended for the great food and friendly service. Add to that ridiculously low prices and you can easily get over the cruddy area and ehh interior.
Go there if your anywhere near by it is the best Cuban in the area easily.

“If you are hungry for Cuban food-this is a great place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2010

The daily specials offer plenty of food for a great value. Not much for atmosphere and the area in which it is in, but great Cuban food with friendly service.
