For an airport hotel, the Days Inn is above average. It is newly renovated and very clean. The staff is freindly and accommodating, including the airport shuttle drivers. We had to stay here after having a cancelled flight, and they made our stay great. They have an outdoor pool and breakfast, which was pretty basic. The pool looked nice, although we did not have time to use it. It is also a short cab ride to several stores and restaurants.

I had heard good things about this hotel, however, our stay was horrible. First, the reservation was all fouled up due to an inexperienced and untrained desk clerk. She couldn't find our reservation, and when another person tried to help her, I was told the room type we had reserved was unavailable. They stuck us in a smoking room, which was disgusting. The room was terrible, and had ants all over the bathroom. The next day, I asked to speak to a manager, and was told he was working the night shift. There wasn't anyone around to listen to my valid complaint. The breakfast at 8:00am was okay at best, and the shuttle we reserved to go to the port at 12:00noon was 30 minutes late. We were told to wait and another driver from another hotel would be by soon to take us. Awful Service, and again, no manager around to help us. I will never stay at this hotel again.

We stayed at this hotel the night after our cruise, because the hotel we stayed at on the first night was not so great. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and professional service we encountered. We had stayed at other Days Inns before, but nothing like this. The lobby was beautiful, the room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We especially loved the new pillow top mattresses in our room. They were so comfy!! The breakfast in the morning was fabulous. We stuffed ourselves wiith so much yummy food. They offer eggs, bagels, pancakes, waffles, french toast, cereals, yogurt, danish , muffins, and on and on. We couldn't believe the selection they offered. And it was all included in the rate! The nice man at the desk was more than happy to extend to us a late checkout of 2pm without any additional charge, and of course, transportation to the airport was free. It made for a great ending to what was a wonderful vacation. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in Hollywood or Fort Lauderdale. Thank you so much for a great stay. Wow, what a wonderful place! From the booking of the room to the check out it was great! This place is as nice as any "upscale" hotel and were we suprised. This days inn is like no other! We stayed in a room that had pillow top matresses and a fridge and microwave in it. The staff was exceptional and always willing to go out of their way to help us find what we were looking for. Go see for yourself!
