“Good value for Pre-cruise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

They did what they said they would: picked us up at the airport in the evening, and delivered us to the cruise port in the morning, all included in the price. Pool was too cold to swim in. Breakfast very good variety and quantity. Room was fine. Both the people at the desk and cleaning people were very helpful and friendly.
Location is excellent: walk to several fast food restaurants, regular restaurants and a large shopping mall.
Very good value; we would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Book early for better price.

We stayed at this facility the night before a cruise. Location was convenient to airport and cruise port. Stores and restaurants within walking distance.
Hotel offers free transport from airport to hotel. We asked for transport down to the beach (only about 3 miles), really overpriced at $60 roundtrip.
Check-in was hectic, plenty of staff on duty, just too many people arriving at one time.
Rooms were very dated, but clean. Pool was nice, grounds attractive.
Breakfast in the morning was a feeding frenzy-very crowded due to most people heading out at the same time.
Would consider staying again for one night.

Perfect location our needs. We arrived on a very busy Friday night. When I called hotel for shuttle we were continually put on hold, so we paid for taxi which was $30. When I got to hotel, they were swamped, so understood why I was put on hold. The clerk knew I was irritated waiting for quite awhile to check in and having to pay for taxi and gave us 2 free drink passes for the bar which made up for the inconvenience. The hotel is next to strip shopping center and some fast food chains, so it is perfect if you need to run out and pick up a few things. The free breakfast was fine. We arrived to late too book the airport shuttle time we wanted, so we walked to Hampton Inn and found an independent shuttle for $10 each that got us there, no problem. I booked this hotel early and got a great rate. It is what it is, a clean, convenient place to sleep to be near airport/ cruise ship. For the right rate, we would definitely stay there again.

I had stayed at this hotel back in January of 2014. At that time, I took the time and trouble of using their own "how are we doing?" card to address the problems that we saw during our stay. The rugs were very dirty and the furniture heavily used, but I thought I saw a glimmer of hope when I spoke to the new manager. (They'd recently become Quality Inn) When we decided to take another cruise in November, we went back. The price was the most appealing thing ($79.00 with transportation included) We had since become Choice Club members, so when I called to mention our stay, we were upgraded to a mini suite.
Sadly, the hotel was in even worse condition than it was in January. I wore white socks in the room to keep my feet clean, and they were heavily soiled on the bottom after just one night. The shuttles from the airport and to the cruise-port were fine, and appreciated, but the condition of the hotel makes me think I will probably look for another hotel next time. I'm sad about this as there was a BJ's, Target, McDonalds, Burger King, and Taco Bell within walking distance. I still hope they will clean things up, but frankly, I've given up hope.

Poor shuttle service from airport to hotel. Waited 1 hour. Front staff have NO empathy for the customers. Several customers waiting all over lobby. Rooms not as shown on the internet. Luggage left in secure area as rooms not ready. We walked back and removed our own luggage. Not very secure. We were charged $2.00 a day for the safe which we did not use. I have a full page of info that would not fit into this venue. The rooms are not as advertised on the internet. On the internet the rooms are bright and clear. The rooms are in fact old and not too inviting. You can here the doors closing as they are not sealed very good.

this place is located very close to the airport and the port for the cruise ships. They offer a nice room, pool, continental breakfast and helpfull staff. Not only does the price of the room, it includes a shuttle to the cruise ship and parking for the duration of your cruise, all for one price.
You can see I-95 from the front of the motel.

Room Tip: If you are looking for a descent quality clean room and not the Hilton, this is the place to be befo...

Have stayed at this hotel twice now & though it may be dated (as most Ft Lauderdale hotels are), it's comfortable enough for an overnight stay & you could do much worse on price! The beds are clean & comfortable, the room size adequate. The staff is very polite, though they assume way too much, to the point of sometimes being annoying, that you are using their shuttle transfer to get to the port! The location is convenient as there is a Kmart within walking distance, a McDonald's next door & some other eateries nearby. These are all nice to have when traveling for forgotten toiletries, sodas & fast, easy meals. This hotel also operates their own shuttle transfers not only to the Ft Lauderdale airport, but to the Port of Everglades as well. Their shuttle driver was very courteous & we didn't wait very long at the airport for pick-up. This hotel offers a free hot breakfast, but on cruise days, it is nearly impossible to get anywhere near the lobby to sit down & eat breakfast, so I can't comment because we have never been able to do it! All of the cruise shuttle companies are familiar with this hotel & you will see every one of them there on cruise embarkation days! Waiting for your particular shuttle to the Port of Everglades or the Port of Miami can get quite chaotic in the lobby & the driveway at times! Do make sure you tell your shuttle operator which Quality you are staying at, since there are quite a few in Ft. Lauderdale & you don't want to be left behind for your cruise!

Room Tip: In summer, the pool area can be rather noisy. You might not want a room near the pool.
