My wife and I first stayed at the Riptide Hotel in June 2012. We returned for two days on March 14th, 2013 prior to a cruise. Since our stay in June 2012 the Riptide has opened a kitchen which serves the Tiki Bar. We only experienced the Nachos and the chips and salsa, however these were very good and we spoke with many people who had other items to eat and they were all impressed. Just like in the past the room was wonderful because of it's location on the beach. The Tiki Bar continues to draw all kinds of people and we again not only met up with people we met before, but met new people. The location of the hotel, the Tiki Bar and music continue to make this a hit and we look forward to coming back soon.
