We checked out the Anne Kolbe Nature Center on a Tuesday morning in late June and glad we did. Had the whole place to ourselves. Lots of crabs among the Mangrove trees, even ones that climb trees. Also saw a raccoon feasting on a few. Grounds were well maintained, boardwalk type trails and a nice exhibit hall. Also had a 5 story observation tower. Paddle boats and kayaks are available to navigate the waterways around the park. This is a good stop in the morning before heading out to the beach. The exhibit hall only cost $1 and had some neat fish tanks and other artifacts.
