one of the best burgers ever... only downfall is the very long wait...
Great burgers and fries. Problem is if you get there late, the food runs out or it's an hour plus wait.
I can agree with a lot of the reviews in that it is dumpy, service is slow and fairly rude and food takes a LONG time to come out. However, if you are looking for a small "beachy" place, this is great.
The restaurant looks like it was cobbled together from spare parts. None of the floors are level, the tables are old and there are toilets and bathtubs scattered around all over. I didn't see any bugs like others say.
Our server started out very rude. We were told they do not particularly cater to tourists and she became a lot nicer after we told her we are locals. My suggestion, don't say you are on vacation.
The food takes a long time to get to you. If you see the kitchen you will know why--it is tiny. Again, if you are not in a hurry and just want to relax with friends it will not be that big of a deal. The food is worth the wait. The burgers are fantastic.
Basically, if you are not in a hurry, are not easily ruffled by rude service and just want to have a good burger and some cold drinks, this place is great.
The wait can be a pain so don't go if you're starving or in a rush. It's a total dive but best burger ever!
