Best burgers in the world. I don't know why. They just are. Recent success may be spoiling this place. But when it's on, this place is like a pit stop on the way to Margaritaville.

I was a fan of Le Tub and the burgers until a visit yesterday. I normally sit outside, since this place is on the water, but there was no outside seating yesterday, so I sat inside at the bar, by the window. I have never seen SO MANY ROACHES in my life!
I moved across the bar, and finally left when I saw the roaches crawling on the doorway of the kitchen, and onto the menus and liquor bottles. The bartender said they were just "palmetto's" but I am a florida native and know a roach when I see one. I would not recommend this place to anyone, in fact, I regret having done so in the past after seeing these conditions.

My friend and I had lunch at Le Tub after spending some time at Hollywood Beach. It is very small, quaint, and more of a bar atmosphere, so very casual.
We sat outside on the deck and watched the big boats go by on the intercoastal waterway.
My friend had heard Oprah recommend the burgers on her show; so she ordered one. It was enormous! Very tasty and served on a huge poppyseed bun.
I had the "Catch of the Day" sandwich, which was dolphin. It was excellent, and also served on a huge, soft poppyseed bun.
My friend ordered a Rum Runner which tasted rather weak, so she had them add an extra shot of rum.
Service was rather slow, and it's cash only; no credit cards.
Expect to pay around $10 for a burger or sandwich; fries are extra.
We were there during Tropical Storm Noel, which made the wind on the beach awful as it blew sand in our faces. It was great at Le Tub; because it was sheltered from the wind and I got to enjoy some Florida sunshine which was scarce that week!
I would recommend this place for anyone who likes a casual, easy going atmosphere. It's a great place to grab a bite and share some conversation with friends.

I need to keep my wife away from Oprah show and her recommendations. I agreed to go to this place with my wife and two kids. We ordered 2 burger and 2 hotdogs. They told us it would take over an hour for the food. The place wasn't crowded if you don't count the thousands of flys in the place. When the food arrived the burger was burnt on the outside and rare in the middle. The tab was over $80 and we didn't drink liq.

I've made much better burgers with my grill and Omaha burgers.

The best place I've seen for food in the area is Shooters in Ft Lauderdale. You can still see the boat sin the inter coastal and the food is very good.
