spent 3 nights here back in DEC 07, had a great time, HOTEL rooms where nice,great pool, i agree with some of the other reviews aboout the hotel being a bit smokey from all the smoking in the casino they do have a seperate non smoking casino as well, BUT DO NOT LET THIS RUIN YOUR STAY, THE PLACE IS HUGE!!!, at least 5-10 different places to eat right in the hotel, great bars there, Murphys law had a great live band every night. good food at all food establishments we ate at.

My boyfriend and I went here to celebrate our year anniversary. Upon check-in, we were notified that we had been upgraded to the Fillmore Suite (probably because on the reservation I added a note that it was our anniversary) which we thought was pretty cool. Well, we get up to the room and its a HUGE one bedroom/2 bath apartment! We had originally only booked the cheapest, standard room (about $300) and here we were in the $1250/night suite!! The pool is gorgeous, the hotel is very unique and clean... a little smoky but not too bad.. and the area around is just perfect. There is just about everything you can think of to do. We ate at the BluePointe ocean restaurant, and sat outside by the fountains that lit up and corresponded to music - very romantic. Definitely the best anniversary we could have asked for!!

We made reservations for 4 nights at the Hard Rock but changed them to the Marriott Harbour which is located on the beach and I am glad we did. We took the 20 minute drive to the Hard Rock along with my 13 year old. She hated the hotel due to all the smoke. The smell of smoke was everywhere. She was also limited to where she could walk in the hotel due to the casino. We toured the pool area which is very nice but how much time can you really spend at the pool over a 4 day period? Even my husband, who likes to gamble, said he was glad we stayed at the beach.

This hotel is fine for gamblers and singles but not recommended for families with children. There is not much for kids to do there. For a better vacation experience, stay at the beach and drive to the Hard Rock for the evening.
