A great value in the heart of east Hollywood. It's staff is consistently welcoming and helpful, the rooms consistently clean and quiet. I'm not even a golfer, but the real peace and tranquility right outside on the room's screened lanai -- opening onto the golf course -- is it's strongest selling point to me. Strongly recommended....

the lodging overlooking the golf course is a perfect place to unwind. the rooms are spacious and very clean. the golf course is excellent and not especialy difficult. the emloyees are very friendly. the meals are very good and they do have a bar. i go there 2 times a month for 2 days of golf and 3 nights of lodging during the 5 winter months. david stallman, palatine,il.

Reading one of the reviews made me hesitate greatly, but we were glad to go.
It's sort of an island of green in the middle of Hollywood. You can walk to Hollywood Bl., great restaurants. A drive to the boardwalk is well worth it, you can walk for hours there, and the beach is fantastic. The municipality is really doing a nice job of revamping.
Sure the hotel is ordinary, but very clean. Depends what you go for, we spend little time in the room anyway. The location is nice, and wow, step out, there is your cart, and a very nice course it is. Very quiet at night. Nice to see the ducks come up to our balcony.
Friendly folks, helpful, we also had vouchers for the restaurant, which is open for lunch and to 7 o'clock or so. Breakfast on weekends. There is a very nive view from the restaurant. Loved the beer, of course, and the fries! Nice plates, very generous portions.
Yes there is a smell of humidity in the club house, but certainly not in the hotel or the room, which were very clean, with a great view of the course. If you complain about the view of the parking / pool, why book that side in the first place ?
Oh yes, the pool is new or looks it.

This place is over priced and smells bad.
Weird noise at night could not sleep.
Had very bad vibes, later found out the place has ghost.

The room was very clean, but smelled awful. The bathroom water never got hot, so we didn't shower for 3 days, the front desk lady said to run it for a while, I did and it didn't get warm. On the website it offers rooms overlooking the pool. They actually overlook the parking lot, on the other side of the lot, is a nice fenced in pool that is not visible from the room. They also said we could rent bikes, which they were "not available because of the tires"....the golf course is very pretty, and we enjoyed that. Cannot comment on the restaurant, it smelled so bad I couldn't give it a shot. All in all, room was very clean, but I wouldn't go back. The downtown is a close 5 minute walk & it's great. The beach was beautiful (5 minute drive from that Hotel).

  • Liked — It was clean

I'll admit I was worried after reading all of the bad reviews, but when I got there I was pleasantly surprised. I could tell thet the place was old immediately upon arrival, but was impressed with the renovations. Upon check-in I was asked for a $10.00 per day deposit, however I did not have the same card I booked the trip with but cash was accepted with no delay and was promptly returned upon check-out. I was in a timeshare, so my room was not serviced everyday, but to my surprise it was fully serviced on wednesday. Other timeshares I have participated in had no maid services at all. I had a beach front 1 bedroom suite, the only problem being the windows. The downstairs area and Oceanwalk Mall were run down and in need of repair, but after speaking to some locals, the city's economy is also down a bit being in proximity to Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. O'Malleys was awesome. SAY HI TO EDDIE if you go. Great Bartender. In closing I would go baack to this resort and probably WILL again next year.
