Our room was perfect in every way.. very impressed! The staff was always very helpful and nice. Pool area was fun and the workout room was well equipped.

Even for a nice resort, I feel the prices of food and drinks are too high. Poolside: $25 for burger and fries! $14 for a weak drink at the pool!

We enjoyed our stay and will return... great vacation!

1- could not check into our room until 6pm (not 4pm) rooms were not ready!

2- we paid for a deluxe king room and ended up with a SMALL standard double!

3- The bathroom door was off it's track.

4- The hotel staff acts like they are running a prison compound and not a resort..got YELLED at by a pool staff employee!!

5- Found the overall attitude of hotel staff could really careless about any problems we had!!

6- Our luggage never made it to our room..we had to go find it in the garage..and it was in 5 different locations!!

7- Got yelled at again checking out and going to wait for our car..because we were walking out the wrong door!!

8- This was our first and our LAST stay at the Westin!!!

I was there for a conference and found the hotel to be lovely. The beach area was very well-maintained. The pools were gorgeous and never that crowded. I loved the HUGE balcony that I had off my room-- great views in all directions too. I would not hesitate to go back here for a vacation. The only downfall -- no restaurants in walking distance.

The hotel was very beautiful overall, clean with an exotic tropical theme. Most of the staff very friendly (some of the Managers and Desk staff need lessons in tact, but the servers and maids were amazingly friendly and polite) I will not go into the numerous disappointment's of my stay... a few highlights.

1) do not expect to get checked in by the "guaranteed" 4pm check in... they do not honer it nor is it guaranteed.

2) plan on LOTS and LOTS of extra fees from internet access (not including the separate and extra fee to use to print your boarding passes) not to forget the charge for the use of beach chairs.

3) pricey? yes, its a Westin so expect overblown and exorbitant increased prices. but there was a VERY noticeable lack of service.

it was a very disappointing stay and unfortunately will never stay there again.
