“Best Date Night Restaurant at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

Stylish, pleasant, airy room. Well-trained, professional service. Food is good if perhaps unremarkable. Cuban-inspired, rather than Cuban-authentic. Skirt steak ($26) and grilled white fish ($19), both with two sides, were nicely seasoned. Portions were more than ample. Live music (after 8:00 p.m. on weekends) made conversation difficult but possible.

“This is not authentic Cuban food.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

Considering how close it is to Miami and little Havana you would think that they would hire Cuban chefs. I have been eating Cuban food in Broward and Dade county for years and was really disappointment by Bongos, years back I ate at the original one in Downtown Disney and I remember liking that, but this time, wow, it was very lackluster. I felt like it caters waaaay too much to tourists. The flavors that are supposed to pop at you with real Cuban food just wasn't there. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff was really nice but the food was just too expensive to not serve authentic, flavorful meals. I'm giving it a poor and not terrible because like I said, the place is pretty and the waiter I had was friendly but the food is supposed to be what carries a restaurant and for that reason, I'm giving it a rating of poor and sadly would not go again.

“Excellent Restaurant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

This restaurant is located at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. It was our first time trying Cuban food and we were not disappointed. Excellent decor, service and food. Definitely would recommend this restaurant and we look forward to going there again.

“Over rated and horrible food!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

This place has the looks and ambiance, but the food is extremely poor, and over priced. If you're looking for good Cuban food...forget it, this is not the place for you! No flavor, not cooked properly, and too expensive. I promise you, there are lots of other Cuban restaurants that are hundred times better. Just because Gloria and Emilio own it, doesn't mean a thing! Save your money and go elsewhere!
