“Dessert Crepes were good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

We actually got 2 dessert crepes to eat for breakfast since we were staying at a hotel that didn't have a restaurant. We heated them up the next morning for breakfast and they were tasty. The girl was so nice she put all the fruit in a seperate container so the crepes wouldn't get soggy. I'm sure they would have been even better had we eaten them as soon as they were made. It was fun to watch how they make the crepes.

“NEW OWNER - BEWARE! THINGS HAVE CHANGED!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

I was in Hollywood, Florida last year for 3 months and ate at this restaurant at least twice a week. It used to be fabulous. Well, things have changed. My husband and I just got back from eating there and it was one of the worst experiences that I have ever had. I ordered the prosciutto sandwich, one of my favorites. The prosciutto was thick and so tough that I actually had to remove it from the sandwich to avoid spitting out every other bite. Essentially what I ate was a very pathetic salad on bread. Since I didn't see the owner, I waited until the place was empty to make a complaint to the guy making the sandwiches. As it turns out he is the NEW OWNER. He said "SORRY, IT SHOULD BE BETTER THE NEXT TIME." No offer of reimbursement, replacement or discount. Really poor customer service. I WON'T BE BACK! As you can see from the other reviews this place used to be great. NOT ANYMORE! BEWARE!

“Very Tasty Sandwiches...Environment not too good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

First the Good - The sub sandwiches (around $8)were excellent, served on a baquette or wheat bread. They are garnished with a great assortment of vegetables including these small pickles which were excellent. We should have purchased one sandwich and split it. We had a hard time each finishing the sandwich. If you are a hearty eater, you will be satisfied. A sandwich split is enough for normal lunch . We also had a smoothie $5 , which was very good.
Now the not so good - This is a tiny place, with not a lot of seating. We did sit in there but the place quickly filled up with a waiting line, and with the sun beating in the windows , it was too uncomfortable. There are a few small tables outside, but there is no umbrellas and you can be sitting in the scorching sun during the day. Place was understaffed with one employee trying to do everything. Someone finally came in and attempted to help with the cash register. I would try to avoid this place at peak times (you will be waiting a while), and also would suggest just ordering and taking the sandwich to a place which is more relaxing. It is not right on the boardwalk , so you don't have much of a view from this place. They also have salads available

“Find this gem on Johnson St”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

You could almost walk past this cafe without noticing it, but don't! Do have lunch inside at a window seat.
We had tuna salad plate which was very tasty and creatively staged, including shredded carrot and radish.
We also had fruit and ice cream, which was equally tasty and beautiful.
Great vacation lunch - then walk off the calories on the boardwalk.
