Perfect quiet spot to walk out onto the beach - so simple to take a dip and just walk right back to the room to shower off. Or just sit under an umbrella in the grassy courtyard, and watch the waves. It's not set up for being chic or trendsetting - no fancy extras. Just the basics, done nicely.

Friendly owners and helpful staff, just as everyone else has said. They were happy to help us out with extra sheets & towels, etc. Though we got a bit of a scolding for trying to take our expensive bicycles inside our room to keep them safe overnight.

The room wasn't quite what I hoped for - a bit stuffy, a bit kitschy, not much light, not enough wall outlets, and a very soft springy bed that gave me neck ache - the one thing that would really improve for me is a much firmer mattress.

Otherwise fine - everything was clean and neat, kitchenette in good shape, plenty spacious for 2 people.

Patio area is clean, well kept and a place you can chat with the other guests and the owners. They take a lot of care over the space. It's south of the broadwalk, so most food and nightlife is about 1mi. on the other hand theres no commotion, just a few joggers coming by.

Good wifi coverage indoors and out (loved getting work done on a beach chair).

Overall: don't expect frills or special extras but would definitely go
back for some quiet, friendly down time.

...to spend a holiday, waking up on a lovely sunny morning and open the door to the beautiful beach and spectacular ocean view. The rooms are great - they have every conceivable thing you would want, they are clean, tidy and well furnished.
Thomas and his staff make you very welcome and you can see, go that extra mile to be helpful.
I would recommend it for family get togethers, couples wanting a quiet time and families with young children - the beach will keep them all amused!

This is a wonderful resort, feels like your home. Great owners and the service is very good. The maintenance person is number one.The sea is amazing. All services around is good. BBQ are cleaned easy to use. If you need information the owners are always there to help. Grocery very close to the resort. 5 minutes walks to the Hollywood broadwalk. Airport is at 10 minutes drive.We recently spent four beautiful days and lovely nights at the Manta Ray Inn and our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. My wife and daughter enjoyed the sea. everything is so close you get up in the morning and you have your first coffee on the deck in front of the ocean

We recently spent four beautiful days and lovely nights at the Manta Ray Inn and our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. Although my boyfriend has been many times with his family, this was my first trip to the Manta Ray Inn and it was easy to see why it is a favorite family getaway for them! The location is great and the beach was beautiful. Our room was large, comfortable and clean and had everything that we needed. We really felt like part of the Manta Ray Inn family and look forward to returning for a longer stay next time.
