“Top restaurant in Hollywood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2012

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but if you like really excellent food, then eat here. The coca cola braised beef ribs were delicious, the veal chop was very tender. Service was superb, thank you Heather. Everything was so good, we even had dessert just to see if it was as good as the rest of the meal. And it was. I can't recommend this restaurant more highly.

“Delicious meal - great service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2012

Ate here with a group of colleagues on a Monday night. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded, so the staff was incredibly attentive. Everything about the mean was phenomenal - from the varied appetizers to the entrees and expansive wine list. Definitely a great place to enjoy a wonderful meal.
The menu seems to change on a regular basis, but definitely try the beef ribs marinated in Coca Cola. Absolutely delicious! The wheat berry salad as a side is also very tasty!

“Best food in Hollywood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2012

Creative and delicious. This is a must if you are in Hollywood, FL. A real departure from the bar & grill, snack & taco shack scene that seems to dominate the area. This was the *only* place we visited that promoted a local for local philosophy. Will be back again next year. It is price-y...but worth it for a really nice meal. For three people the bill was ~ $150, not atypical for a South Florida dining experience.

“Felt so comfortable that we might have been regulars”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2012

We were given the name Lola's from people who live in this part of Florida. From the moment we located the restaurant, we felt this place would not disappoint. The large windows that look out onto Harrison immediately convey the atmosphere and food that we enjoy. Although there is a relaxed air to Lola's, you intuit that nothing is relaxed about ensuring dining that is delicious and contemporary. We're most taken with GREENS & THINGS. My husband orders a spinach salad that is described as"
Swank Farms Arrowhead Spinach, Cinnamon Dusted Granny Smith Apples, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Toasted Almonds, Apple Cider-Honey Vinaigrette Topped with a Crispy Poached Egg." I have the ROASTED BEET SALAD with Oven Roasted Red Beets, Frisee, Maytag Blue Cheese, Red Wine Poached Pears, Candied Pecans, Champagne Vinaigrette. Both salads are sensational and live up to their particularized descriptions. It is rare that the salads taste so fresh that you would be happy for the dinner to stop there so you can continue to be reminded of how good some ingredients can be. For mains, for him, it's COCA COLA BBQ BEEF RIBS with beef ribs, buttermilk onion rings and herb creamed corn. My husband says he actually prefers pork ribs and although tasty, the corn does not add to the meal. I have GRILLED RAINBOW TROUT on
wild arugula, cherry tomatoes with roasted shallots in a lemon-basil vinaigrette. Once again, it is the fresh greens that really turn on my tastebuds. The fish is very good but the greens have been outstanding. The side of sweet potato fries likewise is sweet and I cannot stop eating them. We notice, there are other mainstays no the menu: such as
FILET MIGNON and SALMON. We have key lime pie for desert. The crust is vanilla wafers and it is delicious, not too tart and not too sweet. The chef has balanced the flavours perfectly so that the pie is refreshingly delicious. We enjoy Lola's and would make it our regular haunt if we lived in Hollywood Florida.

“Great Food in Hollywood!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2012

I went to Lola's on Harrison earlier with some co-workers for an off-the-clock dinner.

The food at Lola's was great! I heavily recommend the sweet potato fries and crab cakes (which were perfectly seasoned). And a co-worker found the ribs and onion rings "delectable"!

We found the ambiance and modern decor to be a slice of New York right here in Hollywood, Florida. With a formal dining area, Lola's is great for groups and couples seeking a more intimate, yet casual dinner environment.

To top off the experience, the service was stellar, the restaurant spotlessly clean and the pricing was reasonable!

I will definitely be taking more people to Lola's- especially out-of-towners!
