“Love the Pool,Boardwalk and Beach”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2012

We stayed at the Hollywood Beach Resort after our cruise on the Epic for 3 nights.(March 31st - April 3, 2012) The hotel is on the boardwalk and the beach, our room was a king suite, good size room with a kitchenette, table and 2 chairs, a/c not cold enough, the bathroom had a tub and granite vanity top, everything was clean and daily maid service no Balcony or a window that would open but we didnt stay in the room much.. The Hotel was old and the Boardwalk Mall that is attached to the Hotel had many empty stores and a wierd layout. The Hotel Pool was the best and right on the boardwalk. From the pool we had a obstruction on the beach like this giant grassy mound and a wood walkway to the beach / ocean. The next block over no grassy mound great view and sand to the Ocean.

Room Tip: Try to get one close to the elevator we had to walk the halls forever back and forth no stairways to...

Good view and location to the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk. The room was very moldy and affected by sinus. I checked out after 3 hours of checking in. Made an attempt to get reimbursed they literally hang-up on me four different times. This should be a no star hotel. I would not recommend this place it needs an overall make over/renovation.

we stayed at this place for two days, the front desk was very helpfull and accomadating, the hotel is very clean, the rooms are big and spacious, we didn't have a ocean view (we didn't pay for it), it looks like a old historic hotel from the begining of the 1900, we had a small kitchenette in the room, with a stove and fridge/freezer, nice clothing boutique and mini market in the hotel, not overpriced, easy access to the beach in the back, pool is nice temp, awesome hot whirpool next to the pool, no food allowed in that area, and they don't sell food there, they are very strict with that rule, also no drinks in the pool and they run up to you as soon as you take ur drink, the beach chairs are over a half a century old, but they're still in good shape, we tried the mattress for a extra dollar, it was too sweaty for me, so your better off without it, you have to take the towels at the front desk and bring it back when you finish, don't know why they have to make it such a big deal, and have the towels in the pool area, also the towels are old and skinny, from so much washing, there's laundry room and ice and vending machines on the 4th and 7th floor, which is helpful if your coming to a place from another vacation and your due for a load of laundry, the parking is $18 Valet and $15 self park, per day, it's a a extra cost, you must use their garage as no where else to park, once again, i felt like I am in a historic place, it was worth the try, don't think I will go back there

My family and I stood at the this hotel spending almost $500 and I should had stayed in a cheap hotel because the employees were nasty the breakfast was for 2 people only and it was only coffee and bread. Then we had to pay for parking $18 a day. I really should had to save my money and just gotten a cheap hotel. This place sucks....

Room Tip: Don't come here...

although there was a bit of mix up at arrival, the staff did everything they could to make sure we were left with smiles on our faces.

We stayed here after our cruise, our room had a King bed with kitchenette no view and far from the elevator. The room was good size and clean, nothing fancy but after the small Balcony room on the Epic it felt more spacious. We didnt stay in the room much and LOVED the Boardwalk, the Hotels pool is really nice. Right in front on the beach is a built up area of grassy type growth with wood decks and walkways to access the beach WAS TERRIBLE,(the next block over nothing but flat sand) we could not see the Ocean from this area in front of the hotel or boardwalk at all.

What intrigued us of this hotel was its historic value and it's proximity to the beach, but after finally visiting, our dream became reality. We were treated stupendously by the staff, specially by the Director of Sales, Millie and the rest of the staff. They were very amicable and charming. We are enjoying a top-notch suite that's super clean and modern. It's a pleasure to stay here and we will definitely return again.

By the way, to make an opinion of this hotel, you must experience it to judge it.
& the beach is one of the BEST.
