First of all...let me preface by stating that I truly use trip advisor to book hotel/motel rooms. I value an honest review. Therefore, I feel I must leave the most truthful review. Philip, the Inn's courtyard, the homespun amenities and the close proximity to the beach are what make this place wonderful. Philip was extremely friendly and accommodating.....providing beach chairs, towels and lots of good suggestions. The beach and Broadwalk were awesome (although this was a little farther north from the action). The middle courtyard was peaceful and beautiful, even despite the traffic. So many great things! But the room....well, VERY small. We (two parents and two kids) stayed in a queen efficiency and it was extremely tight. The bathroom had a leaking sink faucet and a shower head that sprayed all over the entire bathroom (soaking clothes brought in and the toilet paper). The beds/pillows were terrible. I truthfully think our room should have been a single room for no more then two people. We were also in the back of the inn and there was a light outside our room that was on the whole first night which made it seem like daylight in our room...that and the alarm went off at midnight, which scared the heck out of us. So bottom-line...would we stay here again...not sure. We liked so many things, but not sure if this was worth the money. Philip and so many things make this place special....wanted to love it entirely, but it needs updating.
