“AFRAID TO SHARE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2012

I'm afraid too many will read this and come to this super awesome local restaurant. Then, I would have to wait to have my favorite Italian food. And, I would still wait!
Honestly, it starts with the garlic knots. Nothing even comes near them. Hot, buttery, loaded with garlic and delightfully light. Last night we shared the mushroom appetizer. Out came three huge mushrooms stuffed with cheeses, sausage, and chopped spinach in a plate of freshly made sauces. (We left the third one to devour at home on another night.) The salads were cold, crispy with only beautiful dark romaine leaves, olives, pimentos, onions and tomatoes. Our main meal last night was the penne alla vodka. Not only was that sauce perfection, it didn't drown the al dente pasta! They added sausages, shrimps and broccoli too. We shared that dish and had enough leaving full and happy. They were kind enough to split it on two different plates and never charged for the splitting.
This restaurant is owned by a sweet woman who told me she would share how she got this restaurant on another night. (She never expected to be the owner.)
We who live in this area, are sure glad she did. Her staff knows how to please people and the food is divine.I noticed tons of people leaving with pizzas ordered in advance. Several of them seemed to be known by the staff as they came to pick up their orders. They also offer amazing desserts but we couldn't find the room in our bellies. Next time! They also serve beer and wine. Parking is easy because it's in a huge shopping center on the corner of Bridge Road and Route 1 in the Winn Dixie center. And, you're welcome locals or visitors. Hint: Avoid Friday nights. They are swamped then.
