A large group of us camped here in June and I have been here on two separate occasions as well. Check in went smoothly but the price for camping at $20 per person per night is a little steep in my opinion ($12 for day pass). They do not assign the camp sites or the number of people allowed on a site so it is a free for all trying to find one. The camp ground does have lighting, water spikets and bathhouses but the bathhouses are near the entrance and depending on your site, can be far. There are a few porta potties but they are disgusting - diarriah on the seat the whole time. The bathhouses are not maintained. Actual campsites stay maintained fairly well to allow for tents and gear. The springs are beautiful with water so clear you can see 15ft down. The main attraction is the river with a natural flowing current that people tube down. While the ride is fun, the river is gross- dark brown water, tall grasses, sharp rocks, people littering beer cans and shouting and being obnoxious. This behavior is not only in the river but all around the campground. Paired with that is underage drinking, fights and illegal drugs. I saw the police drive through several times but that didn't deter the bad behavior. People were playing loud (i mean really loud) music late into the night and first thing in the morning. On our second night someone was taken out by helicopter after being involved in a fight! This is not a family campground! I may return for an afternoon but I definitly won't camp here again!
