“Great Peruvian food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2011 via mobile

Costa Peruana is a small family restaurant located in Miami Lakes. The food is authentic Peruvian food and they are helpful in case you don't know what
An specific plate is. You must try the Jalea and the lomo saltado, they are amazing. Their prices are good because they serve a good amount of food. Also try Jugo de Maracuya, a special juice from passion fruit.

“Neighborhood Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2011

Costa Peruana is located in the middle of the Palm Springs North area of NW Miami-Dade, not on any major roads but in a small strip mall in the middle of a residential neighborhood. It has a very loyal local following and excellent Peruvian cuisine. My favorite dish is the Pescado Al Ajo (fish with garlic sauce). The menu is simple but has a variety of fish dishes, soups and salads. The staff is friendly and has been there for years as far as I can tell. Since it's not on a main road it may be a little hard to find the first time but it's well worth it.

“Decent and exactly what you expect. Not...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2010

Decent and exactly what you expect. Not excellent but a satisfying meal, and if you like hot (spicy) sauces, like I do, then their salsa verde (green sauce) is very good.
