i went to Hialeah racetrack with my sister to gamble. We were hungry so we went to the little cafe. they did not speak English and I kept pointing to what I wanted. they still didn't understand. three waitresses were involved and no body spoke English
or knew what I wanted. several guys who spoke Spanish tried to help. don't know what the problem was.she rung up $10.00. didn't know what I was paying for or getting so I walked away.

“Must Visit- Best Poker room in South Florida”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

The Hialeah Park poker room is by far the best poker room in South Florida. Let me begin by saying that the room is absolutely beautiful and well thought out. The table space is comfortable and not crowded, the chairs are comfortable. They even have cup holders underneath the tables. The management was very professional and friendly. They run a variety of games for all stakes from the average Joe to the High Roller. They have great enticing daily promotions and a progressive Royal Flush Jackpot.

“Best poker room in South Florida”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

I have mixed feelings. The casino is beautiful, but the limit on the roulette is only $100.00. The place just opened so they aren't ready. There were about 100 people crowding the players club, so it was hard to just enter the casino. Not much security to speak of. The poker room is fabulous. Incredible chairs and lots of TV's to see what is going on. No menu available to look at at the restaurant, so you have no idea what they serve let alone the pricing. Be prepared to speak spanish.

“The most beautiful racetrack in the world”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

Hialeah race track has a storied and historical past. When thoroughbred racing was there, it was magnificent.-- old Spanish style with Bouganvillas climbing the walls. The coolest thing about being there was that everyday at 5:00 they would play a song and thousands of Flamingos that lived in the infield pond would fly around the track in a circle until the end of the song when they would gracefully land. I hope the track and traditions can be restored.

“Hialeah Park, racetrack”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

Hialeah Park racetrack is a historic landmark in South Florida. It is a beautiful place with its gardens and french style buildings (clubhouse and grandstand), plenty of memories of the racing golden era in the United States. Nowadays it promotes quarter horse racing from december to february and is in the beginning of a great renovation that includes the construction of a casino and a hotel onsite.
