“Winter Stay for Miami Boat Show”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2014

We stayed here for 2 nights. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Looks like this is a converted type of condo as people seemed to be settled in for the winter. Place is older and could use some TLC, but was clean. Our room on the pool was fine. Tile floor. We had a king bed. Room had a microwave and full size refrigerator, but no coffee maker. No hair dryer. Bed was very comfortable (did not need the plastic bed cover on top of the mattress pad, but I understand why may be needed). OK, the breakfast was terrible! But, right next door is a Starbucks and a Paneras, so never cared for their breakfast (ice tea, some sort of orange drink, 2 kinds of cereal, hard boiled eggs and bagels). The rate was great for a winter stay in South Florida during high season. The pool area was kept immaculate and the pool was heated and felt like you could swim without freezing (many people were using the pool, but we didn't have time). Lots of restaurants and store within easy walking distance. Location was good for us!

Room Tip: Rooms on the pool are best!

Location is NOT everything. I felt like I was staying in a third world country. Both the faucet and tub continually dripped. There was a electrical room that had an annoying buzzing/humming noise all night. I was put into the back of the hotel where the only access was through a hallway and up a stairway. The door has a 3/8 gap at the bottom. I felt like the the creepy crawlys were just waiting for night to come out and get me. Also, check in is at 3:00 pm, not 2:00 pm, not 2:45 pm. Very unaccomodating. Continental breakfast was horrible. They provided a choice of coffee (with powered creamer only), orange colored drink, lemonade, or I think apple juice, hard boiled eggs or toast, cold cereal, and some store bought cookies. It was dissappointing to say the least. I ended up going to Waffle House instead. If I had a place to shower and change, I would have just slept in my car. Next time I will pay a little. Oh for the commenters that said the staff was friendly, go and stay at a Marriott and see what friendly actually is. I didn't particularly care for the front desk staff.

Room Tip: Stay away from the back middle side of the hotel.

I should have known something when I got a room for a cheap rate. Tile floors? AC works when it feels like? ITS AUGUST!!! The furniture didn't even match, bathroom looks put together, an outdated TV that only played maybe ten channels. Even though they still use keys, which got stuck in the door and needed maintenance to get it out, nothing prepared me for my second night when I discovered this place has a Roach problem. When you put down a bag of unopened food next to a sink, go to the bathroom real quick, only to come back three minutes later to find half a dozen roaches around your bag......its time to go. I was down there for a family reunion so I had to find another hotel to finish the week, but when I did I bought a big can of Raid and sprayed the whole room before I got out of there!!!

Starting with location . Perfect location close to everything Walmart Burlington and so much more everything around is cheap close and very good people . ive read others reviews about other people and i can personally say that maybe those people have attitude problems .. theres nothing wrong with front desk they actually work with costumers very polite very fun and very human. " i enjoy having a vacation where i feel like home and this hotel gave me that." the pool was big enough for everyone in there. they have a restaurant around the pool i didn't eat there but my friends said they're are good with food and more. i love the lobby they have free internet " all you have to do is ask" i enjoyed talking to everyone personal and guests. the room was great we had two different rooms and we felt like home one of them had a kitchen and the other didn't but it was cool ... the TVs the shower i don't know why people complaining about this hotel we spend a whole week and we didn't had a problem with anything and because economy it was my best choice ever .. im happy i had a great time there ... i actually have some new friends and this is exactly what i was looking for when i got to Florida because im expecting to come back again and feel like home ... Florida its a nice State and i would love to know more and more ... i do have to say that my previous trip wasnt all that but i think i found HOME...

Room Tip: I definitely recommend this hotel and if you have any question please ask they are not going to bite...

Great value, freezing A/C, clean, very friendly staff, great location, walking distance to Walmart, to the beach, Aventura Mall four miles away, you get a little in room kitchen, with microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker. Not to mention, a large walk in closet. Excellent value for the money. Thanks Knights Inn!

Room Tip: I was prepared for a bad experience, since I needed a good, inexpensive room to stay for a week, for...

i was looking for a hotel next to the beach and a good price. after reading review i wasn't to sure with knights inn but i took a chance and i did hope it was decent. surprisingly i love it, air conditioning roomed, breakfast, FREE parking, clean pool, cold and HOT water, and room cleaning service every morning. also quiet, friendly staff. the property could use some landscaping but decent for what you pay. this hotel is close to Walmart. burger king and much more. i had a very good stay and would come back. great if u need more then one room.

Room Tip: must have a car
