Used HH points for a 3 night weekend getaway as a couple here. Only 10 min drive to the beach, right across the street from Gulfstream Park with the horse racing, shopping and many good restaurants. Staff was very friendly on check-in and check-out, very accommodating with a request to do a late check out on Sunday. All staff always greeting us with a smile and kind words throughout the weekend, asked how our stay was going and if there was anything we needed. Rooms were clean, and housekeeping did a good job tidying up promptly. Breakfast was the standard Hampton fare: bagels, pastries, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, do-it-yourself waffles, and a small selection of hot items like eggs and sausages - no complaints. Gym is small; only 1 each of treadmill, elliptical, and stationary bike with assorted free weights. Pool area nothing special but at least it was clean. Parking seemed very secure - security patrolled at night.
Only complaints are 1) that they are still doing renovations on some floors, therefore only 1 elevator was operational and we had to wait a long time sometimes, but I'll give them props for keeping the noise to a minimum, and 2) there's a church that meets in the ground floor meeting rooms on Sunday mornings and they are incredibly LOUD, and drew the complaints of many guests at breakfast. They crowded the hallway oblivious to hotel guests trying to pass through, and even very noisily used the swimming pool for baptisms. I didn't complain, but I'm sure if it was any other type of group other than a *church* making this kind of disturbance, they'd be kicked out. We opted for breakfast out as a result.
I'd consider staying here again.
West side rooms overlook pool, and are quieter than the hwy-facing rooms. Stay away from low floors...
