“Best boat trip!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014

Our boat captain Ed gave us an amazing trip! We had dolphins jumping behind the boat, saw manatees, sharks, rays, and my sons helped to reel in a fish. We spent some time on a great little island finding shells, which he helped us to identify. It was fun for both adults and kids, and all of us agreed it was one of our best Marco Island experiences!!! We will definitely do this again.

“Dolfins surfing on the stem wave of the boat.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

This was our fifth trip with Everglades Area Tours. We did in earlier years two kayak tours (mangrove tunnel tour and boat assisted kayak tour). Two year ago we went for a jungle walk (with a guide with kompas) from Janes road.
I can recommend every tour with Everglades Area tours.
This year we booked the 10.000 Island tour. The girl friend of our middlest son joined us this year to Marco Island. It was her first time in the US.
To we were with our party of 6. We went earlier than the appointed Tuesday because there would come a storm. Thanks for the e-mail! We went on Monday with our guide Ed.
He took us to bald eagle nests. And we saw baby birds. We also saw a lot of white wading birds.
The very big shell from the shelling Island went home in the suit case to the Netherlands although my suitcase was searched by a TSA security officer!
The most wonderful part of the trip was a mother and baby dolfin surfing on the stem wave of the boat. Beautiful!. And Ed needed to do his best to find them.
Thanks a lot and hope to see Everglades Area Tours again next year in April!

“relax, relax, relax!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2014

My husband and I met Captain Ed in Goodland for our 3-hour tour and were very pleased with the morning spent in his care. We booked the 10,000 islands excursion since neither of us had been in this part of the glades before and were quite happy being shown around on the comfortable boat. We did stop on an island for shelling (which is fabulous), but what we really loved there was the driftwood and old trees along the shoreline. It made for some wonderful photography. We appreciated Ed and his experience very much, finding we had much in common regarding the environment and our shared passion for its protection.

“10000 islands and a wonderful morning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014

Due to a thunderstorm the night before, the weather wasn't good at the beginning. That's why we missed a lot of animals. But the affectionate animal-loving guide tried his best. So he let the dolphins surf on the stern wave of the boat, always keeping an eye on the security of this adorable animals.
Visiting one tiny island with tons of shells was also a amazing.
The rest of the time we spent listening his explanations about the birdlife.
