“Very special B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

This was just outstanding from start to finish and a very nice change from the usual hotels. Pat and Tom have done a super job of creating a place you'd be proud to call home. It was very pretty, the neighborhood was nice, its an easy walk to many good restaurants, and the sleeping was quiet and comfortable. We met another couple there and enjoyed their company and also enjoyed talking to Pat about the interesting history of the house. Highly recommended!

“Great place to stay for a "Gator Getaway"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

Our weekend was my husband's Christmas present and was planned around the Gator-Ole Miss basketball game. We enjoyed our accomodations, the food was wonderful and Pat and Tom are excellent hosts. The inn was full that weekend with a nice mixture of guests and plenty of common areas to enjoy conversations and quiet time, too. We highly recommend the Camellia Rose Inn.

“Great place to unwind”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

My wife and I had started to feel trapped in Jacksonville, FL by business and family. A short trip South to the Camellia Rose provided the perfect getaway.
The Inn is beautifully maintained and provided us with one of those rare "already settled in" feelings as soon as we hit the front door. Pat was very cordial and got us all the "how to" property info at the outset. Our room was, I believe, the Stardust room which has a small porch with a sitting area overlooking the back yard of the property. The TV was on a small table that, because of the bed foot board, did not allow for comfortable viewing but that was not what we were there for anyway. The rest of the room and bath were spotless and comfortable.
Breakfast the next morning was wonderful and a great way to start what turned out to be a sparkling winter day.
We will definitely put this this on our quick getaway list and hopefully be able to return again
soon!

“roomy and clean”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

We stayed at Spat's, a cabin that permits children, which was wonderful since we wanted to visit with a younger family member. Pat was coridal about helping with my reservation, and I was sorry she was out of town during our stay. Chris, the substitute innkeeper, was friendly and experienced, but the breakfasts both day were just disappointing. It had something to do with the poor quality of the eggs, I think, and perhaps overseasoning or, on our second day, overcooking. Chris tried hard to accomodate, but we have had much nicer choices at other B&B's in the area. Otherwise, the experience was perfect. Quiet and comfortable!

“New Year's Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

We stayed at the property on New Year's Eve 2012. Pat and Tom are excellent hosts, and the accomodations were both charming and immaculate. The accomodations are within walking distance of downtown, and Pat helped us by offering different options for dinner and celebrations. We Greatly enjoyed our stay and will be going back the next time we are in the area.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are nice. We had are choice, but would have been happy with any of them.
