“Cold rice and bananas!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

My husband and I went to Emilianos today for lunch. The place is pretty, but the food and the service are horrible. We ordered the Argentinian Steak which comes with rice and maduros. The meat was 4 bites of beef, the rice was cold and hard, and the maduros (or platanos) were also cold and hard. We saw the waiter only twice and we had to request drink refills. If anyone believe this place is so great they have no idea what a good restaurant is like!

“great rep and food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

no matter what time of year you cant go wrong with this restaurant. The food, service, location (just down from the hippodrome) is a great way to spend the evening.

“Great Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

We ate here on December 1st. The atmosphere was very nice and quiet. It's in a quaint part of Gainesville that we had never been to before. I had ropa vieja and it was delicious, not too saucy. My husband had paella and he thoroughly enjoyed it. It wasn't quite dinner time but the waiter said he would prepare anything we would like from the dinner menu. The service was excellent. We will be back again.

“Awesome food, slow service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

We found this restaurant by chance on our way through Gainesville as we were looking for a place to have lunch. We were seated promptly and enjoyed reviewing the interesting menu. The food was fabulous - very flavorful and generous portions. The service was slow (the restaurant was not busy) and it took a long time for our food to come out of the kitchen (with no updates from the waiter). We would definitely go back the next time we're in the area!
