We visited KC Crave on a Saturday night. Though we had called for a reservation, we still waited about 20 minutes to be seated. We ordered the tsunami chips, which probably have no redeeming nutritional value, being potato chips smothered in cheese and bacon. Basically death on a plate, but tasty! We also had some delicious fried green tomatoes, ahi tuna, and a couple of very enjoyable cocktails. The only fly in the ointment was the noise level. There was live music upstairs and people had to raise their voices, that was okay. However, about half of the clientele seemed to be young women shrieking, cackling, and squealing. It was hard to enjoy the food when every few minutes some high-pitched blast of sound would practically shake you out of your chair. My ears were ringing for an hour afterwards. If you’re planning to have a conversation during dinner, you may want to go somewhere else; if you want a place for you and your girlfriends to scream like banshees, KC Crave will be perfect.
