“Dirty and unkempt”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2015

This park was dirty and unkempt. The girl at the counter was more concerned about getting her money out of us than helping us start our tour. The main building was full of junk. The whole place looks like it's well on its way to becoming a flea market.

“Nature at its best”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2015

Stop by and enjoy the peace and quiet in a garden atmosphere. We love to take the trails through the gardens and then sit a while near the lake. Beautiful and oh so quiet

“Nice park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2015

This is a nice park with plenty of nature trails to explore. The paths are well maintained and the whole thing is very well taken care of. Dogs are allowed and some people allow theirs to run off leash. Staff is friendly and will pause in their mowing to allow you to walk past.

“Outdoor experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2015

Sufficient paved parking with clean indoor toilets, covered modern round fiberglass tables with curved bench seating. Outdoor wooden tables. Covered, screened gazebo near water, safe play grounds and equipment for children 2+ years and older. 200+ year old Live oak trees with Spanish moss. Walking and biking trails, some paved, some with mulch. Some trails are open, some in woods. Bring food and drinks for a picnic under the huge beautiful oaks. Great family place.

“Beautiful park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2015

We came for the camellia show that was going on last weekend. We have been to the gardens many times before and for several special events. If you ever get the chance to see the camellia show, I would highly recommend it. I had no idea how many different types of camellias there were.
