They unlawfully recorded my debit card information from when I made a payment and charged my card after I left for $135 that I don't owe and no one will return my phone calls. I am having to go through a long dispute process and they literally took the last dollar from my account. They kept charging it $50, $30 several times then $20 and then $5. until they got it all. Check your room charges carefully. They upped our rate without notice several times and charged double for some nights. It took days and multiple requests to get the adjustments made. I also had two medications stolen the one time I forgot to take them with me when I left the room. Coincidence? If you have to stay there take your valuables, medications and anything else you would like to keep with you and PAY CASH!!

We were weary from a long day and a long drive, we decided to get off of the interstate and check out the first hotel away from the noise that we came to & decide if we could afford to stay. Thankfully, it was the Hotel Oaks! we were surprised at the price quoted and decided to stay. For the price we paid, i was prepared for a saggy bed and smelly room. when we went into our room, it smelled clean, looked clean, had a refrig, microwave, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, big TV, new king bed, free wifi and a bite of continental breakfast! (and a pool out front). We had a very restful night in this quiet place and decided to stay there a few days later upon our return. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and we met the managers on our second stay who went out of their way to get us a nice clean room with everything ready. They are redoing the rooms and upgrading the place. I would highly recommend this place!

People reading: PLEASE BE AWARE the property is under new management. I read the reviews & was a bit skeptical as this was the only place left (that wasn't booked) that allowed pets. When my husband and I arrived, we were warmly greeted, our room was very clean and smelled clean. Any issue we may have come across, the maintenance/housekeeping team was vey prompt in solving it. They are still working on improving a few things, but overall - we enjoyed our stay. :)

I stayed at the Hotel Oaks in Gainesville while the roof on my house was being repaired. I was VERY impressed with the property, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff was super friendly. I would stay there again, and I would also recommend this hotel to others.
