The University of Florida was fortunate to be funded for the study of various species of butterflies. They developed an academic program, but even better, they shared it with the public.
The enclosed garden of beautifully landscaped plants, streams, and waterfalls contains free flying butterflies of many species with hundreds of colors and shapes. A stroll through the garden will allow you to marvel at the gorgeous variety of nature. It might even afford you a close up look as one of specimens lands on your arm for a brief rest.
It is a very tranquil, relaxing, and informative way to spend some time. It is enjoyable for adults and children. There is a reasonable entry fee. Don't forget to bring your camera.
