“Great place, great staff, great experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2011 via mobile

This hotel was a pleasant suprise. I had read a few negative reviews of this hotel prior to our stay and was little leery about our upcoming vacation, let me just say, it was awesome. It was really a great experience. The hotel is being renovated and we were booked in the older section where the beachfront suites are located and it was still unrenovated but it was still clean comfortable and nice. I can't wait until our visit next year. I'm sure it will be even more nice. The staff was awesome friendly helpful courteous accommodating and every other positive adjective you want to throw in there. The food experiences at the hotel were great we ate at the breakfast buffet every morning and while it wasn't free it was worth it. Food was excellent and the wait staff ended up feeling like extended family by the end of our stay. We ate at beach side bar/cafe great as well. Try the Grouper sandwiches. We also after a hectic day ordered room service nice sized portions very tasty. Delivered hot. The Chef was out of an ingredient for our daughter's desert, improvised made a tastier desert in her opinion and comped us the desert plus 10% on the whole meal, can you say classy. Needless to say we were satisfied with the stay and I haven't even mentioned the beach. Amazing quiet relaxing. If you are looking for PARTY HOTEL this is not it. If you are looking for a great place to take your family on wonderful vacation, look no further, you've arrived.

Second year at the particular property. Family all stayed and had a wonderful time. Warm, friendly staff, great beach and the young men who rent out the beach chairs, jet skis and paddle board go above and beyond to accomadate your needs! We were excited to see several pods of dolphins every day, playing and fishing in the surf!I love this place and plan to return again next year!

Room Tip: Beautiful place on beach side!

Will stay there again. From check in to check out the hotel staff was exceptional. Breakfast was great, rooms clean and comfortable.

Hi

i stayed year in July of this year and i bloody rained everyday. Although the beach front hotel site is great, the pools are oustanding by the rooms are just terrible. My mom had an allergy attack becuase of so much fungus and moisture under the carpet. They had buckets in every corridor of the 2 story part of the Hotel.

The rest is OK, but stay away from the non-sea side view part of the Hotel. Too bad it was all 60 concrete architecture.

Room Tip: Dont stay in the non-sea side, just too run down, make sure you stay in the sea front 5 story area.

We just got back from a week at Four Points and loved it! This was our first trip to Ft.Walton and we picked it because it was just an 8 hour drive for us. We have a 2 year old and didn't want a long trip so this worked out great for us. Look it is what it is,a beach hotel with some good things and some bad..with much more good than bad. The staff was GREAT, the pools were nice, the view was breath taking, and the room was...well a hotel room but it wasn't bad. The hotel has 2 wings facing a courtyard and one 6 floor "tower" facing the beach. One wing was closed for renovation and I would guess the other will be soon. It's next to the Gulfarium on one side and an empty lot on the other so we didn't see a lot of people on the beach, That and the fact that it was the middle of September. So will we be back? Sure! Would I tell my friends? Just did!

Nice place, but a little aged. The rooms need to be updated and the breakfast buffet was lousy. That being said, it was a nice relaxing stay. I spent most of my free time(I was there for a wedding) by the pool closest to the beach. The way the pool was designed, it kind of seemed like an after thought. the other(also small) pool in the center court area was nicely done, but quiet. No music at all. The beach pool had music coming from the Kiwi bar while it was open. There was no pool drink service, but that was fine. It gave me the chance to talk to the bartender, John.. He was a great guy to talk to. very friendly and informative about the surrounding area. As a matter of fact, every employee that I met was very friendly and helpful, and not in a fake way.
The hotel is in a great location, just minutes away from Destin, but not crammed in like many of the other area hotel/condos.
My main complaint is silly. I found the pillows on the bead to be way to soft,

Room Tip: Pay a few extra dollars to overlook the court. Why bother to see a parking lot, if you don't ha...
