I've ate here for lunch a few times with office co-workers. Most seem to like it, the hamburgers get great reviews with my co-workers. I haven't tried the burgers, but the crab cakes and philly steak sandwitch. Both were okay, nothing to write home about. The three times I've been here there's a sewer smell coming from the bathroom/rear entrance area. That may have influenced my taste for the meal.

Excellent dinner menu and fabulous fun if you can afford the Chef's table.

If you are tired of eating at restaurants that have the same menu with the same five or six choices of fried seafood and chicken fingers, then you need to visit Big City Bistro for something different. The bistro is located on Brooks St just west of Brooks Bridge. Take Hwy 98 east and turn right on Perry; you'll run right into it. Park on the street or behind the restaurant.

The salads are awesome, especially if you are tired of the same old iceberg lettuce. They have real mixed greens and romaine. The burgers are great, too, served with regular and sweet potato fries. If you've never had sweet potato fries, you need to come here just for that. I've tried their lattes while waiting for a carry-out order--definitely worth a try . . . you might not even want to call your order in ahead of time after you've tried one.

The service is fast and friendly, but relaxed . . . nobody ever tried to rush us out of there. If you want something different, off the beaten path, but in a great neighborhood, you've got to try Big City Bistro.
