This is great hotel , right on the BEACH!!! Great price!!! The staff will go out of their way to help with problems!. For any travelers the internet connectivity is excellent never a problem and you can access internet from anywhere even out on the beach within reason! I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling near or to the Ft Walton area.

The hotel is NICE and what a GREAT location. You can walk to everything, we rarely move the car when we go for our annual visits. We always stay at this hotel. It isn't a swanky place, but it's clean and RIGHT on the beach! I do wish they had a quiet bar...but there is a great liquor store across the street to buy everything you would need to make a cocktail to sip oceanside. There is an awesome seafood place within walking distance. The hotel is a great place to shower and rest after a day on the beach...I don't go to Fort Walton to sit in a hotel room, so this works just fine for me!

As a female who traveled alone to the Hampton Inn for 5 nights in April, I cannot say enough about the very hospitable staff, the clean rooms, wonderful breakfasts, sparkling clean pool, and the sense of security I experienced. And the computer for guest use let me stay in touch with my family. I was disappointed not to have an ocean view, but a 30 second walk put me right on the beach in the sparkling white sand.

I am returning for another three night stay in June knowing all of the same conditions will exist and I can relax and have a great time. And who knows, maybe I'll have an ocean view this time!

True, there are only a few rooms with a gulf view; however, walk a few feet and you are right there on the beach! The rooms were clean and nice. In fact, I am told that it was newly remodeled--due to hurricane damage in Sept 04. It smelled new. The mattress was very comfortable, and the furnishings were certainly above average. One of the reviews says that the hotel furniture is comparable to a Days Inn--guess they must stay at some incredible Days Inns (every Days Inn I've stayed at is not very nice). Not fair to compare this to a Days Inn. This hotel is VERY nice.
