Stayed for two nights in September. Good location. Clean rooms. Great service. Checked in around 3:30am with no problems. I would stay there again. Although it was after Labor Day, the price was still a bit steep. All in all, a great experience.

We have been vacationing in Ft. Walton for years. I am a native of Ft. Walton (grew up there), but live in Ga now. We have been staying at the Hampton for several years. The staff is very friendly and helpful (especially the breakfast staff!). The room was clean and was perfect for "staying at the beach". The beach service personnel could not have been nicer. As always, the beach was beautiful and we enjoyed a relaxing vacation. We plan to return again next year.

My wife and I, along with our 4 year old son, stayed here in July 2007. Big rooms for the price range with direct access to the beach from the property. Parking is at a premium, so be sure to not have to go out via your vehicle after 6pm, as you may not get a space in the hotel lot after that.
Although only 10 of the rooms actually face the Gulf, the rest of the rooms have very easy and convenient access to the beach. Rooms do include both a microwave and a refrigerator, so if you are one is interested in saving some money, you are able to keep some food in the room.
I highly recommend this hotel.

If you want to stay in a clean hotel ON THE BEACH, have an excellent breakfast every morning and not have to deal with crowds and noise, this is the place. Easy access to parking. Walk across the street for seafood or burgers. Very clean. It was great to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room for snacks and beverages. Not much view, but we spent all our time on the beach instead of looking out the window at it. Friendly staff. Big fluffy comforters were dreamy. Nice large, well-lit bathroom.
